• Uploads: When you upload files, such as WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger data, we parse the content directly in your browser where possible. Parsed messages are securely sent to our servers for processing.
• Temporary Storage: We do not store the uploaded files. Once the messages are parsed and processed, the original file is discarded.

Data Security

We employ robust security measures to protect your data at every step of the process:

• Encryption at Rest: All data stored in our Managed Database on DigitalOcean is encrypted at rest using LUKS (Linux Unified Key Setup), ensuring that your data is safeguarded even when it’s not actively being used.
• Encryption in Transit: Data is transmitted securely over HTTPS to protect your information from interception during transfer.
• Message Encryption: Before storing your parsed messages, we use industry-standard encryption to securely encrypt the content. Only encrypted data is saved to our database.
• Discarding Plaintext Data: After processing your uploaded data, we immediately discard the plaintext messages to further enhance security and reduce risk.

AI Processing

We use AI-powered embeddings to process and search your messages. This process is designed to extract semantic meaning while maintaining your privacy. The AI generates numerical representations (embeddings) of your messages, which are stored securely and do not contain readable content.

No File Storage

We respect your privacy by ensuring that your uploaded files are never stored on our servers. Once the messages are parsed and processed, the original file is immediately discarded, leaving no trace behind.
